The Rooms Division Management course for Bachelor of Hospitality Management students at Level 7 is designed to equip learners with the essential managerial skills and knowledge required to oversee the operations of a hotel's rooms division effectively. This module focuses on developing analytical and evaluatory skills, emphasizing the importance of management functions such as planning, forecasting, budgeting, and evaluating to ensure the smooth functioning of the rooms division department. Additionally, the course introduces concepts related to customer loyalty and the role of artificial intelligence in the hotel industry.

The overarching aims of the course are to supplement the knowledge gained from the prerequisite course (Principles of Selling) and to take the student a step closer to how best to manage the sales force through the adoption of various and current sales management best practices and strategies.

The aim of this course is to give students a deepened and comprehensive understanding of the main concepts in data mining, machine learning, statistics, and natural language processing (NLP), their applications to computer security problems and issues, the unique challenges posed by security, and the work that has been done to address these challenges.
