The aim of the course is to support students in the field of Natural Resources Management to acquire the relevant knowledge of plant taxonomy, plant ecology and forestry to enable them not only, to identify the different important trees, shrubs and grasses but to analyse, evaluate veld conditions and make recommendations to utilize and conserve our natural resources on a sustainable basis.
