English for Academic Purposes (EAP) is a skills-based course designed to develop the academic literacy competencies required for success in higher education. The course equips students with essential academic reading, writing, research, and information literacy skills, including note-taking, referencing, report writing, and the use of appropriate academic language. Students will learn how to locate and evaluate information sources, apply academic writing conventions, organize ideas effectively, and engage with research processes. Through seven interconnected learning units, the course prepares students to become independent, critical, and effective academic communicators.
